A step towards energy independence
This year, a key measure was implemented to reduce costs, increase the independence of the company and contribute to green-sustainable solutions. For this purpose, two power generation plants were built on our roof. The project was partially co-financed from the "Public Tender for the Co-financing of Operations for the Construction of New Small Production Facilities for the production of electricity using solar energy (JR SE OVE 2021) - http://www.eu-skladi.si/".
Depending on the available roof area, the produced electricity is first consumed for its own consumption, and the surplus produced energy is delivered as surplus to the grid. One of the devices is Mega Metal 1, which is located at Ob železnici 5 in Ruše. The total installed power of all photovoltaic modules is 792.66Wp. The second device is located in Jugova in Ruše and has a total installed power of all photovoltaic modules of 549.10Wp.
The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the Cohesion Fund.
